Acquisiton of UpVate
Today I helped Civic Elevator close the purchase of UpVate, maker of the leading elevator compliance software in New York City and Massachusetts. Civic will be absorbing UpVate’s team members into our existing operation.

Acquisition of Site Service Software
Today I helped Civic Elevator close the purchase of Site Service, the leading operations and accounting software for elevator servicers in New York City. The flagship product is rebranded as Civic Site Service and the company’s founder & sole team member will join Civic today.

Today I helped create Civic Elevator, an enterprise software company focused on the vertical transportation business. I was also appointed CEO of the new company.

California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) Contract
Today Ad Hoc was awarded California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) contract number 3-17-70-3437A. This CMAS contract, along with our previous placement on California’s Agile Development Pre-Qualified (ADPQ) Vendor Pool, allows Ad Hoc to bid on a number of opportunities in the state of California. The prime contractor, Bellese, is relying on Ad Hoc to provide all User Experience Research for the project, including four full-time researchers. Today Ad Hoc was awarded Contract HHSM500201600124G for CMS WDS, a project that supports 15 products that help make up HealthCare.gov. I managed the response, including drafting documents, estimating effort, and helping build the team structure. I will also serve as the Senior Program Manager for the program. CMS ADELE BPA Prime Contract for $19.9M
Today Ad Hoc was one of six firms awarded a prime contract on the 5-year BPA for Agile Delivery to Execute Legislative Endeavors for Quality Related Initiatives (ADELE-QRI). I led the response process for this Request For Quote— compiling past performance information, helping draft and edit the Technical Approach to Agile Methodology, and setting BPA pricing.
